Jaromír Vogel has composed music for a number of TV dramas, plays, fables, melodramas and musicals, and is the only composer commited to jewish music in The Czech Republic. In 2001 he was awarded The Franz Kafka diploma by the European Franz Kafka circle in Prague, as well as The Gustav Mahler prize by the European Union of the Arts. In 2002 he received The world renowned Antonín Dvořák award from the Masaryk Academy of the Arts. In 2006 he went on to win the Euro Pragensis Ars.
In honour of his work, Pontifical Preamble, he received a personal commendation and blessing from Pope John Paul II. whilst His Holiness was visiting Prague.
Jaromír Vogel is a member of the Assosiation of Musicians and Theorists, a member of SAI, B'nai B'rith Renaissance, Dilia, OSA (Authors Rights Association). He holds several foreign and domestic awards, accolades and prizes. He is the in-house composer of Šarbilach orchestra and the only writer of the civic association, Muzika Judaika.
